The Consumer Terminal Checkout App allows users to securely link their payment cards to their iPhone or Android device using the ID Tech VIVOpay card reader. Through Bluetooth connectivity, the customer’s credit or debit card is encrypted directly on the hardware, then transferred to the app for safe and private use during transactions.
The VIVOpay Card Reader encrypts your debit or credit card information and securely sends it to the Consumer Terminal Checkout App. Once the card has been added, the VIVOpay hardware is no longer required — giving users a one-time setup for ongoing convenience and privacy.
